This option is offered for metal shapers who work sheet metal on a pnuematic hammer at chest height. The Padded Chest has a layer of neoprene encapsulated in leather to help insulate against the occasional blow experienced by metal shapers. The Padded Chest covers approximately one square foot.  We stitch it on using kevlar thread which has supurb tensile strength as well as being highly fire resistant. The Padded Chest option can be added to any of our bib style aprons except the Budget Apron.
